In this release you'll find:

This release introduces camera event notifications, easier access to camera recordings and notification history, and improvements to video playback, downloads, and navigation. 

• Notifications & Alerts

  • Dedicated Notifications tab: Manage your notifications from the Notifications tab on the myNavistream top bar.
  • New camera event notifications: Receive email alerts when supported camera events occur. Additional camera event types are coming soon.
  • Notification history available throughout the portal: View Recent Notifications using the notification icon on the top bar, accessible from all pages.

• Support, Settings & Logout Have Moved

  • Access Support Portal, Settings, About, and Logout from the menu in the top-right corner of myNavistream. This menu is also available in Fleet Tracking.

• Camera Recordings & Video Playback

  • Easier Access & Navigation

    • Access recordings from Reports: The Camera Recordings page is now available under Reports → Cameras. You can also continue to access it through Admin → Cameras → Camera Detail → Camera Recordings.
    • Quick camera switching: Use the new camera selector dropdown in the top corner of the page to switch between vehicles and camera feeds.
    • Search, filter, and sort saved clips: Search by clip name, filter by road-facing or cabin-facing footage, and sort saved clips chronologically.

  • More Reliable Previews & Downloads

    • Improved clip reliability: Fixed issues that could prevent saved clips from being previewed or downloaded, or cause cameras to enter an error state.
    • Clearer progress indicators: Clip action buttons now show when preparation is in progress and are temporarily disabled to prevent duplicate requests.
    • Accurate processing status: Fixed an issue where footage availability bars incorrectly showed entire days as “Processing.”

  • Clearer Timelines & Calendars

    • Camera events on the recordings timeline: Restored missing event markers so users can locate footage associated with events shown in Camera Events reports.
    • Clearer recording availability: Corrected calendar colour coding and improved legend contrast to make days with available footage easier to identify.

• Fleet Tracking & Vehicle Inspections

  • Direct access to inspection details: Selecting View Details in the Fleet Tracking Vehicle Defect Summary now opens the Inspection Detail Report.
