In this release you'll find:

A new Camera Events Report with review and coaching tools, significant changes to vehicle defect handling in the Defect Summary and Inspection Summary reports, and improvements to reporting, Hours of Service, and system reliability.

• New Features & Enhancements
  • Inspection & Defect Reporting - We have updated how vehicle defects are managed in Navistream, with corresponding changes to the Inspection Summary and Defect Summary reports.
    • One record per defect: Each defect has a single record created when it is first reported. That record remains open until the defect is repaired, even if the defect appears on multiple inspections.
    • Mark defects as repaired from any supported location: Defects can be marked as repaired from the Defect Summary Report, Inspection Report, or tablet.
    • Repair status updates across reports: When a defect is marked as repaired, it is automatically shown as repaired in every report in which it appears.
    • Separate inspection and defect notes:
      • Inspection notes apply to the individual inspection. Multiple notes can still be added to each inspection.
      • Defect notes remain associated with the defect and also appear in the Defect Summary Report.
      • Only one defect note can be added per defect, and it must be entered when the defect is marked as repaired.
      • Once a defect is marked as repaired, neither the defect nor its note can be edited, and a note cannot be added later.
    • Updated inspection details: Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) now appear in their own section.
    • Improved Inspection Summary: A new quick insights panel highlights key information. Updated filter menus include search, Clear All, and Select All options.

The new defect handling applies from the release date onward. Historical records will remain unchanged.

• Camera Events Report - New Report
  • Camera Events Report | Overview - Managers can now review or discard camera events and add internal notes. The new coaching workflow allows managers to assign events and coaching notes to drivers and track when each video has been opened and the coaching acknowledged.
  • Camera Events Report | Coaching - Reviewers can also choose to notify drivers by email when assigning an event for coaching.

• App Controls During Loading & Unloading - Super Admins can now hide the Open Apps button during the loading and unloading activities. More info: How to Access the Navistream Web Portal System Settings to Enable or Disable the Open Apps Button

• Improvements & Bug Fixes
  • Hours of Service (HOS) - Improved engine hour calculations for greater accuracy and consistency across log summaries.

• Performance & Reliability
  • Device message processing - Reduce processing time for incoming device messages.
  • Camera footage - Standardized video storage and retrieval to improve the reliability of access to camera events.
