The Review Screen on the Navistream Driver App serves as the primary verification checklist immediately following vehicle configuration and right before starting your shift. Use this screen to verify duty status hours, address pending log edits or unidentified driving events, sign past logs, and configure off-duty deferrals for ELD compliance.
Accessing the Review Screen
Log in to the Navistream Driver App.
Complete your vehicle selection and configuration.
Once configured, the app will bring you directly to the Review Screen.
Step 1: Reviewing Duty Status, Cycle, and Active Driving Regulations
View your current duty status, and the respective icon.
Review, and edit your active cycle, and driving regulations.
Step 2: Remaining Hours Pool
Use the top two sections of the screen to verify your current time balances:
Header (Section 1): View your current duty status, remaining drive time, active cycle, and driving regulations.
Hours Breakdown (Section 2): Review your remaining on-duty (not driving) time, remaining driving time, and total remaining on-duty time in your current cycle.
Step 3: Managing Unidentified Driving Records
Tap Unidentified Driving (Section 3) to view unassigned vehicle movements (instances where the vehicle moved without a driver logged in).
If unassigned records exist, this section will highlight in yellow.
Review the records and claim only the driving instances you are actually responsible for. Claimed records will automatically be added to your personal driver logs.
Step 4: Approving Suggested Log Edits
Navigate to Log Edits (Section 4) to view driver log edits suggested through the Navistream web portal by management, or safety staff.
Review and approve pending edits.
Note: Approved edits require your digital signature on the corresponding log day to take effect.
Step 5: Reviewing and Signing 14-Day Driver Logs
Locate Driver Logs (Section 5) to view your log history from the last 14 days.
Identify unsigned days, which will be highlighted in yellow.
Tap on any highlighted day to inspect the log details and apply your digital signature.
Step 6: Setting Deferrals and Starting Your Shift
Move to Set Deferral, Sign Logs, and Continue (Section 6) at the bottom of the screen.
Set any off-duty time deferrals if available for your current shift.
Review and complete any final log signatures.
Tap Continue to officially start your shift.
