Unidentified Driving occurs when a vehicle is moved while no driver is logged into and connected to the vehicle’s tablet. These unassigned hours remain attached to the vehicle until they are assigned to a driver.

When you sign into the tablet and connect to the vehicle, a notification will alert you if unassigned driving time exists. You can review and claim these hours from the Unidentified Driving Time screen, which will then add them to your Driver Logs.

If you accidentally claimed driving hours that belong to another driver, follow the steps below to re-assign the time.

Step 1: Access Your Driver Logs

Navigate to your logs using either of these paths:

  • Method 1:

    • Go to Review

    • Select Driver Logs

    • Select the appropriate date.

  • Method 2:

    • At the Main Menu

    • Select Driver Logs

    • Tap Manage Logs

    • Select the appropriate date.

Step 2: Re-Assign the Entry

  1. Locate the claimed driving instance within your list of Duty Statuses.

  2. Tap the Re-assign option next to the entry.

  3. Select the correct driver from the list of available options.

  4. Add a short comment explaining why you are re-assigning the time (for example "Claimed in error").

  5. Tap Re-assign to confirm.

Verifying Your Updates

Once re-assigned, your graph grid will update automatically:

  • Review your graph grid to verify that the changes are accurate.

  • Make any additional log edits if required to maintain accurate ELD records.
