The Logging Truck Cycle:
- Logging truck cycles are seven days
- A driver must not drive after driving 65 hours in seven days
- A driver must take 24 consecutive hours off-duty once in every seven days
- A driver must not drive after 80 hours of on-duty time in seven days
- The seven day cycle cannot be reset
- A driver does not drive after 13 hours of driving time or 15 hours of on-duty time unless the driver first takes at least 9 consecutive hours of off-duty time

The Seven Day Cycle:
Unlike most driving regulations where a cycle can be reset by taking off a sufficient amount of time, the Logging Cycle does not allow for this as it operates on a 7-Day Sliding Window. This window operates by looking at your activities for the current day and the preceding 6 days. It is this seven days that your driving rules are applied and from which your available driving time is calculated.
On the tablet's Review screen, below the three circles, you can check to see your available drive time for the following day and make plans accordingly.
You must remain in compliance with all applicable regulations for each 7 day window to avoid triggering a violation.
In the Example below the 7 day window is tracked over the span of 3 days. The window is bordered in YELLOW and the present date is bordered in RED.
START date July 25:
The next day starts, July 26th, and the times from July 19th have been reclaimed.
The next day starts, July 27, and the times from July 20th have been reclaimed.
