The following pertains to those driving south of Latitude 60°N


A driver is permitted to defer a maximum of two hours of required daily off-duty time to the subsequent day, provided that the following conditions are met:


(a) the deferred off-duty time is independent of the mandatory eight consecutive hours of off-duty rest;

(b) the aggregate off-duty time over the two-day period totals no less than 20 hours;

(c) the deferred portion is appended to the eight consecutive hours of off-duty time observed on the second day;

(d) the cumulative driving duration throughout the two days does not exceed 26 hours; and

(e) the record of duty status includes a formal declaration specifying the deferral and identifying whether the operation pertains to day one or day two of the period.



Deferral time can be set through the Review Screen.

And clicking Confirm. The following Confirmation, along with conditions is presented for your final approval before implementing the deferral.
