Under the Administrations tab, below the Configurations section, you will see an option called Performance rules.

Performance Rule:

A set of engine data parameters that are tested against while a driver operates a vehicle. These parameters, or rules, are given a point value that when added up provide the driver with a scorecard for the day.  These rules include a name, description, the rule itself, and a grace period (a time in seconds before the rule is triggered).

The rules fall into the following categories:

Boost refers to the rate at which the vehicle is speeding up via the use of Turbo.

Brake refers to the rate at which the vehicle is slowing down.

Holdback RPM rules apply when the vehicle is moving, in gear and not consuming fuel.

Idling rules apply when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is on.

Drive RPM rules apply when the vehicle is moving and consuming fuel.

Speed rules apply when the vehicle is moving and consuming fuel.

Each rule can be edited by clicking on the edit button,

or deleted via the delete button.

Below is a look at two such rules, with descriptions of how to read and edit them.

These examples are representative of how the other rules are laid out, read, and edited.

BRAKING

Above you can see some performance rules pertaining to the use of Brake

The numbers beside Brake refer to the the speed range (km/h) that the rule applies to.

In the example Brake 30-60, decel >=7 (harsh), if a driver is driving between 30 and 60 km/h, and they decelerate (decel) at a rate greater than or equal to (>=) 7 km/h per second, they will accrue -10 points per minute (ppm), and this will be registered as a doing a (harsh) brake.

The edit button will take you to the following page:

You can make edits to the Grace Period, the points accrued per min, and any other parameters as you see fit. Remember to click SAVE PERFORMANCE RULE in the upper right corner.

Grace Period:

The amount of time, in seconds, a driver may operate within the parameters of a performance rule before it comes into effect.

HOLDBACK

Above you can see that the Performance rule is pertaining to the truck's RPM.

The numbers beside RPM refers to the RPM range in which the rule applies to.

In the example Holdback RPM 2100+, if a driver is maintaining their truck's RPM at, or above, 2100 they will accrue -20 points per minute (ppm).

The edit button will take you to the following page:

ADDITIONAL CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS

CONFIGURATION

From this option you can select to have the performance points show on your Dashboard or not.

This applies to everyone.

+CREATE A NEW RULE

From here you will be provided a list of rule types to choose from. You may add a Description if you wish, and set the points and grace period (in seconds).

Create New RuleSet

This is useful if you wish to apply a different point standard to different vehicle types.

You can select from the list of vehicles types you have set up.

Then you can either click CREATE if you want to make a new rule set from scratch, OR you can select another preexisting rule set to copy from and then edit individual values on the copied rules.

If you CREATE from scratch you will be given the following options to select via the slider button on the left.

Click ADD RULES once complete

If you CREATE using COPY FROM you will be given the options of selecting from other preexisting Rulesets.

This will create a new ruleset that has the same name as the Vehicle Type

Navigate to a RuleSet

You can now navigate to that Ruleset and edit those rules to better fit the specific Vehicle Type.

The RuleSet field displays the current Rule Set being displayed.
