If you see this icon in the bottom-left of the camera display, it can mean one of the following:

  1. There's an issue with the existing SD card and it needs to be reformatted

    • The preinstalled 128GB SD card in your Navistream Camera is constantly being written to. Therefore, it's not uncommon for issues to arise over time. This can cause the camera to no longer be able to record video and needs to be reformatted.

  2. A new SD card has been installed but hasn't been formatted for use

    • Please complete the procedure below

  3. There is no SD card installed

    • An SD card is required for the camera to function as intended

SD card formatting procedure:

  1. Touch the camera display
  2. Enter in the admin PIN (default = 3333)
  3. Touch 'Settings'
  4. Select 'Format SD card'
Note: if this option is disabled, please verify there is an SD card installed or re-seat the installed SD card
  5. Re-enter the admin PIN
  6. Select 'Yes' to the warning prompt - this action will erase all video data stored on the SD card
  7. Wait until the format process is complete - "Format external storage finished successfully"
  8. Touch the back button in the top-left
  9. Touch 'Exit'

If the problem persists, you will need to replace the SD card with a new one. Replacement SD cards must be a commercial grade SD card up to 512GB in size.
Remember: when a new SD card is installed, it must be formatted by the camera. So, follow the procedure above.
